The clothing manufacturing process results in significant amounts of fabric waste—offcuts, misprints, selvage edges, and leftover materials that are typically
discarded, even if they are in perfect condition. These remnants often end up in landfills or incinerators, contributing to environmental pollution and wasted
resources.
Our Response:
- We partner with local garment factories and tailoring units to collect clean, usable offcuts.
- These pieces are sorted, categorized by fabric type, texture, and color, and deconstructed if necessary (e.g., removing labels or trims).
- Rather than treating them as scrap, we see them as creative raw material.
We reconstruct them into:
- Reversible tote bags
- Artistic aprons and wearables
- Toy plush and soft sculptures
- Modular home décor like patchwork cushions or wall hangings
- Stationery accessories like wrap-up organizers
By doing so, we not only reduce textile waste but also highlight the aesthetic value of materials often considered ‘worthless.’
